Perseids
\pɛʁ.se.id\ f. pl
The Perseids are a meteor shower visible in the Earth's atmosphere in the northern hemisphere in August. Made up of debris from comet Swift-Tuttle, ranging in size from a grain of sand to a pea, they appear to originate in the constellation Perseus.

I discovered this beautiful term for the meteor showers we see in August when arriving in Quebec.
Even as a child, every summer I'd go and lie on the grass to watch them after watching the TV program “Night of the shooting stars” hosted by Hubert Reeves.
During my experiments this year, I wanted to change the direction of my color work. This series was born intuitively, almost accidentally, when I saw the drops of color settle randomly on the fabric, in a beautiful balance between the whiteness of the background, and touches of ultra-vibrant color.
This is the story behind the Perseids collection.
